Two More Ways I Would Use To Market My Film....

In my previous I showed different way on how I would market my film, If I was given more money to improve my marketing I would of add and used my money  wisely;

The first one I would have done would have been television ads. I would have played my trailer, also add some exclusive clip to make the audience want to see more, also add interviews by making to actors talk a bit about the film and parts they played in the movie.

My second one would have been website because it could be global and easy to make and not cost as much. This website could include various things like the trailer, picture of scenes, and exclusive interview of the cast, because the website wouldn’t have cost much I would have invested in poster and wallpaper to download straight from the website also toys, key ring and many more. http://www.simpsonsmovie.com/main.html?cid=us

Here my animatic i enjoy drawing this picture and then taking picture. I found the editing easy but it took time so we couldn't add all the sound.

Locations of my horror film...

These are image of where we will be filming for our horror film, my partner took me to see this location and we both thought this area would go with our scary theme. The picture shown is an alley way, also a park which is small and has a bench. In the park area we will have the main character because it’s the most scary part and darker.

3 things I would like my distributor to spend money on

The first thing I would like my distributor to spend money on is media advertisements, because it gives the main information on who is starring in the film and when it comes out (cinema release). Another reason why is because they can be place in different places, to attract the audience for example on the tube, buses, and over ground trains and on the streets, like telephone boxes, billboards and many more. Finally because it is colourful and eye catching and some people prefer images then having to read a lot of text.

The second thing I would like my distributor to spend money on is online and mobiles services. The reason for this is because it can be advertised on social networking sites like facebook, twitter etc… because a lot of people use these sites. The internet has become very popular because most people are on the computer online. Also new released films have their own websites where the public can find out information on the film and book tickets to watch it

The third reason I would like my distributor to spend money on is trailers, because the trailers have the best parts of the film on show and gives you some kind of idea what is going to happen in the film which excites the audience. Another reason why is because people enjoy moving images instead of still. Another reason is because most people watch TV, and during the breaks of programmes they show trailers of film which is good because it gets the audience tempted to watch the film because it looks interesting, also when going to the cinema they show the trailers of new films.

Funding....

There are quite a few ways to funding to produce a film that are suitable for you,like taking out loans also sponsoring yourself to the media world or apply to the government grant which help people that wanna be creativity and talented. There so many different ways to funding a film there another one called UK film council http://www.ukfilmcouncil.org.uk/funding , so for my part there lots of help  just hope for the best and work hard and be creativity and you mite just be the one. 

My Prezi For My Horror Film...

Me and my partner got a few questions about the stability of our location.So we are going to make sure we have this sorted out first of all,because if we cant get this abondened house,we may have to change our plot around.
Another point that we have to focus on is the scare factor, seem scary so that we make the child seem scary so that when the group of friends get scared, it has to be reatistic.
We also need to make sure that we film at the correct time just incase some people or the place we do go to film has no element of halloween season-we may have to set up our own 'trick or treat.

Opening of a Horror Film?

The most common themes for horror films are thrilling elements to grab the attention. One type is when there is fierce creature for example 'Jaws' or 'Anaconda' to scare the audience.Some se plots which are related to the supernatural,for example 'The Haunting'. The last type is when there is a murderer or revenger is often a main character who kills other characters one by one,for example 'Scream' or 'Nightmare on Elm  Street'.

 

The sound effects create atmosphere and can increase the tension in the viewer. On of the most famous sound effect is used in Hancock’s ‘Psycho’ when the woman in the shower is being stabbed.

Most of the shots are close ups to show the victim’s fear as they are attacked. They also use long shots or point of view shots to show the attacker picking out his next victim or location.

The camera shots tend to be high angled to show the killer is more powerful, large and dangerous. They also use slow movement with the camera to make the audience tense as it warns them something is about to happen. The way they edit the film is to maximums the shock or tension for the audience. The fonts used for these films are often jagged to look like daggers or have blood dripping from the letters.

My Prelim Task

In my prelim task I've learn that it very time consuming for the start I had to make a video on any subject matter. I had to start editing it when I had finished filming to take out any irrelevant parts and for it to run smoothly. After this it was the 'fun' part in which we had to include dialogue. I also wanted to include sound to create atmosphere but I did not have time to complete this.

I found this topic quite easy and funaalthough next time I'd like to improve my timing so I could include everything that I wanted eg the sound and maybe more effects.

 She watches a lot of TV shows, a few of her favourite TV show are the simpson, jersey shore and supernatural.

What Breakfast Cereal they would choose-
She never miss a day with out her breakfast, she normal has crunchy nut cereal, but went she want to be a bit naughty she has a big breakfast with egg,bacon,sauce and beans.

What mode of transport-
She travels by bike to get to places but when she cant be asked to ride her bikes she takes the bus.

   

What political party she would vote for-
Well she very free so she would probably vote for Liberal Democrats. 






what sport she watches/play-

She likes watching football her favourite team is Barcelona football team ,She enjoy playing football with her brother, she also plays football at college.

 

What does she do at the weekends-
At the weekends she spends a lot of time with her friends by going outside place, she enjoy going cinema and shopping, but when she not doing all of the over things she does a lot of studying whilst she listening to music.

Where she go on holiday-
On her holidays she normally travels to her home town which is canada, but she also has traveled to spain and her favourite place of all time was hong kong.

   

What restaurants she go to-
The restaurant she go to most often is mcdonalds, but when its a special occasion she loves to go to a restaurant called eco.

  

First Time Using Green Screen

Today was my first time using the green screen technique, I first had to make a short clip then we had to edit it by using keying so we could change the background,i enjoy using the green screen you might be see me use this a bit more often.

First Time Filming and Editing

 I found my first filming and editing session interesting because I enjoyed filming and using different types of shots in my work. I enjoyed being the director because I was able to use the camera most of the time. At first I found editing hard but after learning how to use the soft ware I found it much easier.
